Though there haven't been any deaths reported in Thailand due to Coronavirus, it is still advisable to be as cautious as possible. There are as low as 35 people reported affected with Coronavirus to date and out of these foreigners who infected have been deported back to their home country.
I would say from 1st hand experience that you should not cancel your plans to come to Thailand, all you have to do is be cautious and you should not have any problems in Thailand.
