No further action will be taken against 3 Stars, a retailer that drew complaints of profiteering over face masks after it sold them at $138 per box. The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) said 3 Stars was able to provide information, including records and invoices, showing "significant" price increases by overseas suppliers. The MTI conducted inspections and interviews at 3 Stars' headquarters, warehouse and outlets. 3 Stars has since apologised and reduced its prices.
