Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has enjoyed one of the greatest starts to a career in NFL history.
He made just one start in his 2017 rookie year. But the wait was worth it, because he won the MVP Award in his first full NFL season in 2018, while leading the Chiefs to the AFC Championship Game.
One year later, Mahomes and the Chiefs reached the mountaintop by defeating the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 54, and he was named the big game’s MVP.
So, for those keeping count, that’s an NFL MVP award, a Super Bowl ring and a Super Bowl MVP...all before his age-24 season.
Yup, Mahomes is the real deal.
