Efforts for Livelihood by a Person with Disability Khawaja Zaheer Ahmed is resident of Village Chalyana of District Neelum Azad Jammu & Kashmir. Mr. Zaheer lost his right hand due to the landmine along the bank of Neelum River (Line of Control) in 2001. He was a tailor before 2001 and later his left tailoring due to the disability. He got free artificial limbs from MPRC - Muzaffarabad (Established by ICRC) and they also counsel and train disabled persons to help them get maximum benefits from the use of these devices.
Later on in 2016, he started a small business at Chalyana and supporting his family consist of 8 family members. He is committed to do more struggle for his family and also advised to others PwD to struggle for the survival.
