Amphicar: The 60s German Car that is Also a Boat

Ian Oliver is an Australian car enthusiast and one of the three people in the country that own an Amphicar Model 700.

This unique vehicle was manufactured in Germany in the 60s and it is made not only to hit the road…but also the water! The name, in fact, blends together two words: “Amphibious” and “car”, making this automobile a hybrid between a car and a boat.
