Ahmedabad: The stone-laying ceremony for Umiya Mata temple at Vishwa Umiya Foundation (VUF) will take place on February 28 and 29, said the temple trustees on Thursday. The first phase of the temple, termed as the biggest and tallest temple dedicated to Umiya Mata, deity of Patidar community, is likely to be completed by 2025. R P Patel, trustee of VUF, told reporters on Thursday that the temple will be 131 meter (431 feet) high and spread across 100 bighas of land.
