In a study by SwissCognitive - The Global AI Hub, it found that 87% of managers believe that #voiceassistants will play a crucial intermediary role between brands and consumers.
But who are the other 13% that don’t believe that?
Maybe it’s those that didn’t believe the internet was a big deal? No one would ever bank online?
Fast forward 20 years and our relationships with our banks are almost exclusively online.
Maybe it’s the people who didn’t think mobile would be important? People would never shop on their phones?
Fast forward 15 years high street stores are closing every week. My wife almost exclusively shops on her phone.
So what’s different about voice?
We can drink our own Kool Aid sometimes and learning what others think is important.
So, genuinely, if you don’t believe that #voiceassistant like #alexa and #googleassistant will be the intermediary between brands and consumers, then why not?
