Into the Unknown (Part 5): You'll be In My Heart

Upon arriving at the Lion Temple, Longtooth escorts Laval inside, informing him that he'll have to wait to see the king and queen until they're ready. Ripclaw Jack is waiting here too and the two former workers reunite.

Ripclaw Jack informs Laval that after he escaped, others tried to do the same. However, Dr. Chase put down the attempts and came to Chima looking for Laval because he started this. Laval states that he isn't afraid of Dr. Chase and adds that he'd rather die before seeing her again. He also asks Ripclaw Jack to refer to Laval by his real name.

Just then, Queen Leona enters, asking about Laval's name. When Laval confirms his name, the queen states that she had a son named Laval. As if in some sort of dream, Laval sings something he can recall from his fractured memory. Leona recognizes her song and she and Laval share a duet of his old lullaby. It ends with them kneeling on the ground in a hug.

Overcome with emotion, Leona asks her son what happened and how he got here. Laval explains everything, but breaks down in tears at the memories. The queen comforts her son and decides to take Laval to meet his dad. Ripclaw Jack informs them that Lagravis is in a meeting with Dr. Chase in the throne room. With his mother's support, Laval decides to bust the meeting up and reveal the truth to his dad and Dr. Chase.
