Todd Ellerin, MD, Director of Infectious Disease at South Shore Health, shows you how to properly wash and dry your hands to keep yourself from getting sick.
If soap and water aren't available, an alcohol-based hand sanitizer (at least 60% alcohol) can be used as an alternative.
Remember, good hand hygiene shouldn't be an occasional thing! Regularly washing your hands is a great way to stay healthy year-round.
