In a culture where the doctrinal teachings of the Bible are held to be less important, or not important at all, compared to the practical teaching for help in everyday living, the Bible itself speaks of the vital importance of DOCTRINE. Some will say that, "Doctrine divides," or, "Knowledge makes arrogant" (puffeth up - KJV). But we will see that doctrine is teaching, truth, reforming, AND practical. It also leads the sinner to the Savior, and the believer to maturity.
