This video shows my efforts to create an affordable, realistic Wright R-1820 in 1:48 scale. Cast in white resin, it incorporates a drone motor and a lathe-turned 3-bladed propeller. Designed and tested to fit the Revell 1:48 B-17G "El Lobo II". You'll see the painstaking process I use to create a prop with minimal wobble. They are fun to run on the test stand, and will look great in a model or diorama.
