WA9ZTY Vintage Ham Radio Net 3885 AM Amateur morning with Coffee

A taste of the WA9ZTY memorial AM net. My station, a nice Johnson Viking II, National NC-183D into a dipole. This was my initial QSO using the new standby switching in the NC-183D. Such a nice receiver, booming push pull 6V6 audio. I normally do not check into this net, since I am not out of bed, However got up in time to capture the check ins. Signals were great/strong. Band was perfect, no noise. A great way to start the day!
