South Korea and the U.S. are considering downscaling their joint military drills in March due to the coronavirus outbreak.
That's according to U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper... who was speaking at a press conference at the Pentagon Monday after talks with his South Korean counterpart Jeong Kyeong-doo.
Jeong explained that any changes won't impact the allies' combined defense posture.
The two sides still have computer-simulated training exercises planned for next month.
