Less sore and decreased DOMS. Who doesn’t want that? If the reason we exercise is to disrupt homeostasis and force the body to adapt to stimulus through physiological processes, reducing that adaptation/recovery time is what allows us to go hard again tomorrow. Or just go again tomorrow.
Put it this way: if the goal is consistency (and it should be), shortened recovery and reduced training cost are the name of the game.
This is why we preach 10 minutes a day / no excuses. The stiffness is real, but the work must go on.
