It's been belated revealed that back on February 15th, Lee Kwangsoo was involved in a minor car accident, where he suffered an ankle injury.
According to KING KONG by Starship, Lee Kwangsoo was hit by a car violating traffic signals on Saturday last week. On February 18th, the actor/TV personality underwent ankle surgery.
One insider relayed, "He underwent a thorough examination at a nearby hospital and was diagnosed with a right ankle fracture. He is now being hospitalized and receiving medical treatment."
The source added, "Due to this, it seems that Lee Kwangsoo will not be able to participate in 'Running Man' filming for a while. As his surgery and full recovery take utmost priority, it seems that his return to the show will be decided after monitoring his progress."
