Landscape Photography | Minimal Seascapes or Digital Art ?

Landscape Photography | Minimal Seascapes or Digital Art ? Is it photography or Digital Art ? Muddy waters I feel , the end image starts it's life as a photograph of a real scene but then you allow your imagination to take over & create a piece of Art in the editing suite .

Not a sniff of B roll for this one , I was way to caught up capturing exposures with which to create ONE specific image , an image inspired by Neil Burnell , take a look at his work :

I'd set myself a challenge for this location , to take an image & create a piece of Digital Art based loosely on the original image . My skill in Photoshop is not a patch on Neil's but I persevered & the result can be seen
in the video , to say I'm chuffed is an understatment :-)
I actually enjoyed the whole creative process so much that I made another image in the same vein !

I'm not expecting these images to be everyone's cup of tea but unless you try , until you push your limits & try things outside of your comfort zone you won't know what your'e capable of achieving .
