Kobe Bryant was a friend of the company and the sport - Dana White | ESPN MMA

Dana White says the UFC wanted to honor Kobe Bryant because of his involvement with investing in the company and for being "a good guy in every way." White says Kobe got his investment distribution the Wednesday before his death and when he got it Bryant wished he had invested more. White finishes by saying when he heard about the crash he could not believe the news as he spoke to him two days prior.
