Dear Oppressors, Sab Yaad Rakha Jayega. Sab Kuch Yaad Rakha Jayega | The Quint

Dear Oppressors, Sab Yaad Rakha Jayega. Sab Kuch Yaad Rakha Jayega | The Quint Aamir Aziz delivers a powerful rendition of his poem 'Sab Yaad Rakha Jayega, Sab Kuch Yaad Rakha Jayega' at the 'India, My Valentine' event in Mumbai on 16 February 2020.

Aziz says, "This poem is for Kashmir, AMU, Jamia, UP, JNU, Delhi. This poem is for all those places where under the cover of darkness, the cowards committed atrocities on us."

"Tum raat likho hum chaand likhenge
Tum jail mein daalo hum deewar phaand likhenge

Tum FIR likho hum hain taiyyar likhenge
Tum hamein qatl kar do hum banke bhoot likhenge, tumhare qatl ke saare saboot likhenge

Tum adaalaton se baithkar chutkule likho
Hum sadkon deewaron pe insaaf likhenge

Behre bhi sun mein itni Zor se bolenge
Andhe bhi padh lein itna saaf likhenge

Tum kaala Kamal likho
Hum laal gulaab likhenge

Tum zameen pe zulm likh do
Aasmaan pe inquilab likha jayega

Sab yaad rakha jayega
Sab kuch yaad rakha jayega."
