For any copyright, please send me a message.  A man has died after being hit by a tram during the morning commute.  The collision happened near to the Shaw and Crompton tram stop in Oldham, Greater Manchester, just before 6am on Friday.  He was pronounced dead at the scene, said Greater Manchester Police.  The force has launched an investigation and appealed for witnesses.  The incident has closed the line and caused disruption for commuters.  Manchester Metrolink wrote on Twitter: "Services on the Rochdale line are operating from Oldham Mumps to East Didsbury in either direction at this time due to a police incident near the Shaw and Crompton stop."  Have you been affected by the incident?
