Coronavirus outbreak: Hong Kong schools closed, events cancelled over concerns about illness

Hong Kong's Carrie Lam said on Saturday that schools would be closed and large-scale public events would be cancelled as concerns continue over the coronavirus outbreak.

At least five cases have been confirmed in Hong Kong, with an additional 122 being treated for potential symptoms.

Flights and high speed rail trips between the city and Wuhan will also be halted due to the illness.
