1966 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible restoration part 64 finishing up gas pocket

1966 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible restoration part 64 finishing up gas pocket Just haven't had much spare time over the weekend to work on the Galaxie. Finished up the gas pocket today. Tomorrow I will give the filler primer a quick sand with 400 grit, then blow some body color on it.

I have the undercarriage sanded, and primed and ready for paint too. I still need to remove the rear bumper, and sand out the very rear frame crossmember, as it's directly behind the bumper. I am going to pull the bumper in the next day or two, so I can paint the undercarriage maybe Friday.

Sorry not much video, as sanding and grinding is plain and simply boring.

I will do a video of reassembling everything.... installing the springs, shocks, exhaust system, brakes and u-joints. I need to overhaul the carburetor also. Hoping to have the car moving under it's own power sometime next week.
